Mug Club The Old Hat Mug Club has a long storied history. Started in the fall of 1998, it now has over 800 Members. The original member, (who got Mug number 01), was determined by a coin toss between John "Cookie" Cook and C. Buggs Coombs. C. Buggs was the winner and that original Mug is still with us today. Mug Clubbers enjoy the comaraderie of the club along with all of the other perks. Wednesday night is Mug Club night at the Old Hat where we usually find Muggers from all walks of life, sharing a brew and the latest gossip or story a welcome mid-week break from our hectic lives. |

The Old Hat Mug Club is open to anyone. Whether you are a weekly regular or just stop by for an occasional brew. Cost is $35 to join and $10 a year to keep your membership current. When you join you will be able to choose your "Mug Name", a special moniker that distinguishes you at the Old Hat, as most Muggers are addressed by their Mug Name while on premises. Your new identity will be engraved on a Mug which will proudly hang in the Old Hat, patiently awaiting your arrival, so that it can be filled with the cold, frothy, goodness of your choice. |
In Addition to your own personal mug, Mug Club members enjoy other benefits. Your Mug is a 20oz pour which you will recieve at the 16oz price, always. On Mug Club Wednesdays, that price goes down to the 12oz price. Muggers also often recieve a discount for shows that have a cover charge. And finally there is the Annual Mug Club appreciation night, which includes a buffet free to all current Mug Club members.
